Amanda Canon is winner of Young Catwalk Photographer Of The Year Award 2016 and ACBA /NatWest Business Plan Award winner 2017. Amanda finds her inspiration from Art, Ireland, Nature and cites Sir David Attenborough as one of her heroes. Her great grand parents were tailors based in Monaghon whose skills were highly sought throughout Ireland.
Amanda studied Critical Fine Art Practice at The University of Brighton and later Fashion Photography at London Metropolitan University which she was able to put to good use at London Fashion Week and Valencia Fashion Week. She has exhibited at Bellalure, London 2016, The Princes Trust Tomorrow’s Stores 2017, Corsica France; ‘Belle Rainbow’ with curator Florence Plant with photographic work in the current issue of UCL Hospital Cancer Fund Magazine and is currently studying at FASHION WORKS, London.
Amanda will be our featured designer at The Roots and Wings Arts and Well Being Festival with a fashion show of her most recent collection on Sunday 8th October at 2pm and her designs will also be available to purchase.
