I am delighted to host Francine Dulong who will be facilitating children’s theater workshops for 4-6 year olds and 1-3 yr old parent and toddler.
Francine is a physical theatre performer, educator and Applied Theatre artist from Nova Scotia, Canada. Her training has taken her from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver (BA French and Theatre) to L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Paris (2008-2009) and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MA Applied Theatre 2015).
Balanced between the worlds of explorative play and theatrical performance, she has worked as a facilitating artist for over nine years, applying drama to the teaching of language (French and English), social studies, eco-systems, computer coding and currently body image/gender.
Francine is the founder and co-artistic director of Blooming Ludus – the new home of her MA research in game design and applied theatre fusions! Francine enjoys creating new work and research techniques in interdisciplinary arts practice/education, working with multi-media and physical theatre, as well as strengthening educational environments which explore diverse learning methods and multiple subjectivities.
Come and explore the world of Autumn nature through song, movement and storytelling! Whole families welcome!
